If You Do Not Already Know Her Name, Then You Are Not 'Inside Fashion' at All...The Beautiful Hope Dworaczyk

Every once in a while pure beauty is teamed with humbleness and what you get is the Hope Dworaczyk. We’re talking beautiful in the most beautiful of ways! I hate using cliche terms for such an amazing model but Bombshell doesn’t come close…more like a Nuclear Explosion with a Texas sized kick!

Hope could easily be a high maintenance diva with attitude for days…she’s been hounded by paparazzi, she’s got haters in just about every direction but she continually puts herself past all of that and continues to shine brighter than a lightening storm at a spot light convention.

At just 24 years old, Hope is already one of the fashion industries most influential and beautiful people. But she is not an overnight sensation. The small town Texas girl turned big city starlet started modeling early in life and was already 5’10” by the age of 13. She signed with her first modeling agency in 2000 after being crowned Miss Teen Texas. From there she has went on to take attention demanding steps on countless runways all over the world…but it was just fashion shows for designers like Versage and Emilio Pucci. Yeah JUST! She’s did print ads with the biggest of big and shot with the best of the best…We’re talking BIG LEAGUES here!!!

Hope has been seen on the Girls Next Door and been featured in Playboy Magazine and is currently the host of Canada’s Inside Fashion and spends her time walking from runways to photo shoots to behind the microphone. This NUCLEAR BLAST with a TEXAS SIZED KICK…is just getting started!!!

So with all these accolades and travels under her belt Hope was nice enough take the time to answer a few questions for me and you the readers and fans of emo’s MODEL citizens!!!

Hi Hope, So what’s going on in the life of Hope Dworaczyk these days?

We'll I've been traveling and working on a lot of new projects. I just shot a cover to be released in April, the new sports illustrated calendar is about to be released and I'm staying busy with Inside Fashion on E! in Canada. Right now I'm getting ready for New York fashion week. Not only am I walking the shows I'm interviewing the designers backstage and the A-listers sitting front row.

What’s your secret to your humbleness? What has kept you grounded?

I grew up in a town with a total population of 10,000 people. You can't just forget what you came from. By remaining close to my family and friends I grew up with I have managed to stay extremely normal and true to my roots.

Let’s talk about your travels…What are your favorite destinations?

If I have a weekend for a quick trip I love to hang out in Cabo. Where as if I have more time off I like the Amalfi Coast or maybe Milano.

Have you had any travel nightmares with all of your jetsetting?

Totally. My bags have been lost and misplaced many times.

You’ve met hundreds of people throughout the fashion industry…is there any one person that just stood out the most to you?

That would be Marc Jacobs. I think he is fascinating. I can't say enough about him. I would also say Ed Kavishe one of the world's best fashion runway photographers from Fashion Wire Press. Both are so talented and humble.

So what do you do to keep that killer figure?

You know what, I watch what I eat and try to make it to the gym 4 times a week. I just do what my body says. Eat when I'm hungry, stop when I'm full. If I crave something I eat it.

Tell me about Inside Fashion…how’s that experience been so far?

Inside Fashion is a baby to me. Not only did I create the show and dream up the idea, I pitched it to producers who made it happen. I host and produce the show with my co-host John Filomena. We're in out second season on E! and City TV in Canada now.

So Playboy? How was your experience with that?

OMG. Where do I start. Such a cool experience. Would I do it again? Yes. The whole comfort level you get with your body is liberating.

So tell me about my hero Hef…what is he like?

Hef is such a sweetheart and extremely witty. He's polite and full of old world charm. I think all personalites are attracted to Hef. Some for other reasons than others. He is as iconic as Marilyn Monroe. One day I'll be able to tell others I knew him and became friends with such a beautiful soul.

Hope is quickly rising to serious fame in the fashion industry and is showing no signs of slowing!

With all the exceptional shoots and shows you’ve done is there a top of the mountain/dream shoot or show that you want to do?

Victoria's Secret is every runway models dream.

Do not be surprised at all if you see Hope working it on the VS runway before long

Okkkkk now for the questions that everyone wants to know…Are you single?

I don't want to comment a lot of that subject. I am dating. I'm not engaged or married, so I guess I am pretty single.

What is it that gets Hope’s attention?

Optimistic people. Also, make me laugh. Now, that's important!

So when you’re not busy with shooting or Inside Fashion…what do you for fun?

I spend time with friends. This summer I want to learn to surf. I'm also getting more and more into photography and being behind the lense.

What’s next on the agenda…what do you have coming up that we can look forward to?

I have New York Fashion Week next month and will be in maybe 7 cities in 8 weeks so you'll see some great new fashion and content on inside fashion. After that my playboy issue is released. Then I start all over with Swim Fashion Week in Australia in Miami! I am also working on a book of all the beauty and fitness tips I've learned in the past decade working. From fast backstage beauty rigimens models use to get ready quick to fitness tips to keep you fit.

Hollywood‘s Hottest New Face…Kristen DeLuca is Taking Hollywood by Storm!!!

Kristen DeLuca is an accomplished model and hard working actress that is starting to make quite a bit of noise in Hollywood


Kristen DeLuca is an extraordinary model and actress that now calls Los Angeles home. She grew up in Brunswick, Ohio and then took off to Florida for school and then moved to L.A. to pursue her dream of acting. A move that has paid off well! She is a former Playboy Cyber Girl and Special Events model and is well on her way to becoming a Hollywood starlet and a household name!

Kristen’s star power is on a serious climb as of late. With recent appearances on HBO’s hit show Entourage, the FX comedy It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and an appearance as a SMOKING HOT Russian Assassin on the new Knight Rider. She is definitely catching the eyes of casting agents all over. I could go on all day listing her resume of TV shows and films as of late but you can check her out on IMDb and you’ll quickly see why she’s well on her way to stardom! Aside from modeling and acting…Kristen is a graduate from the University of South Florida…and not just any graduate…She graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Criminology, was in the top 10 percent of her class…oh and…she was member of several National Honors Societies… Pi Gamma Mu, Phi Sigma Theta, Arts & Sciences and Golden Key. She’s beautiful, she’s smart, she’s successful and best of all she’s nice!!! I recently got a chance to ask Kristen a few questions and here’s what she had to say!


Kristen…How are you keeping up with life with everything that you have going on?
One day at a time. I try to get plenty of sleep, and be responsible with everything that comes my way!

So how long have you been in L.A. and are you enjoying it?
2 ½ years…. Absolutely LOVE it, and I would NOT want to live anywhere else in the WORLD!!!!!

Where is your favorite city in the world?
Los Angeles, baby!!!!!!! J (second choice is Honolulu, Hawaii)

What would be your advice to someone thinking about doing what you did and moving to Hollywood?
Don’t over think it, just do it!

So are people starting to point and stare yet? Are you starting to reach the big time celebrity status yet?
Hahaha, a few people recognize me when I go places, especially when I’m in smaller towns. It’s funny!

What would be your advice for someone just getting started in acting or someone thinking about going into acting?
Ummmmm…. There really isn’t any concrete advice, or one single plan to “make it”. Everyone finds their own paths in different ways.

So who is the coolest celeb that you have worked with so far and who is the one that you want to work with?
Oh gosh, I have no idea!!!!!! I would love to work with Will Ferrell someday! Perhaps in Anchorman 2???????

Ok now I gotta ask the questions all the guys want to know…Single, Dating, Taken and complicated?
Haha !!! SINGLE----by “choice”!!!! LOL…. I’m too focused on my career right now, that guys are seriously the LAST thing on my mind. Plus, I don’t have the time to dedicate to a good relationship. It wouldn’t be fair to the guy or me!

So what does Kristen DeLuca look for in a guy?
Faithful, Good Teeth (straight and white), Nice Butt, Tan Skin, At least 6’0”, Dark Hair---kind of shaggy and maybe spikes up the front all wild, Any color eyes, My number 1 supporter/fan/confidante….Dresses Hot (True Religion jeans, a cute shirt, and some Vans or just cool kind of shoes)….Maybe a tattoo here and there…..Takes pride in everything he does…Has a steady job/career…loves animals
Note to self…buy some true religion jeans, work on the squat trust and get a job!!! :D hahaha

Any major pet peeves that you can’t stand for a guy to do?
Check out other girls in front of me…Act like they are “too cool for school” and try to string me along like some dog…Try to get in my pants on the first date… Ask ME to drive everywhere….CHEATING—I do NOT put up with it! If a guy makes fun of handicap people (I think that is disgusting for anyone to make fun of someone who is disabled---the reason I am saying this, is because I have seen it happen on several occasions and I definitely voice my opinion)…Drinks too much (I don’t drink, I can’t stand being around drunk fools, so I don’t want my guy to act like that)…I don’t like drugs, so stay away from me even if you like to smoke weed!…If he treats his mother poorly, he will treat me poorly… If he isn’t “close” with his family…Disgustingly flirt with other girls on myspace or facebook…. **** Is that enough, because the list goes on…lol*****

I check their portfolio, what magazines they have had their work featured in, what models/celebs they have worked with, and just the general “quality” of their work all together.

Do you have a favorite photographer?
OMG, that would be a bad question to answer, I’ve worked with so many awesome ones!!!! I can’t just pick ONE!

Are you currently scheduling any shoots?
Not at the moment, it’s Christmas break out here in LaLaLand…… So, everything starts back up in January!

What about music…what’s rocking your iPod these days?
I love hip-hop!!!! My faves are Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Snoop Dogg,

What about partying? I already know you don’t have to worry about parking or lines in L.A. but are you a big party girl these days?
Nope… I don’t drink, and I very rarely go out anymore. The only time I like to go out is when there is an event or some kind of sponsored party type thing with photo ops. Other than that, I don’t hit up the club scene anymore! I spend time with my friends by going to lunches, dinners or the movie theaters every so often. (I’m not the wild and crazy girl everyone thinks I am)

So what has been the best experience in your career so far?
Working on Fast & Furious 4…. I got to work with such a great cast, and the Director Justin Lin was the most down to earth, sweetest man I’ve ever had the pleasure to be around. It was so much fun going to set everyday, he always had a smile on his face and always made sure that myself and the other girls in my scenes were fully taken care of the entire time.

Your accolades stretch a mile long but what is the top of the mountain for you?
To become a Series Regular on a Primetime television series, and from there delve into Feature Films on the big screen!

So your workout and diet…what do you do to keep that incredible figure of yours?
Cardio…. I go hiking, and I use my treadmill…. That’s about it, I don’t do weight lifting or anything like that. I eat low fat or fat free foods, and try to stick with basically all water. I have a cheat day once a week during the peak seasons.

And finally…From Miss Teen Ohio to Hollywood…is there anything you would have done differently along the way to this point?
NO WAY!!!!!! Your life is based on destiny, there isn’t even a possible other route that I could have taken. I believe that everything happens for a reason, whether it be good or bad. My course in life is being revealed in segments bit by bit each day that I live. I can already feel/sense my entire future unfolding in my mind. It’s pretty exciting, because it is a very clear portrait! I’m so excited for what lies ahead!!!!

New Jersey Bad Asses...The Murder and The Harlot

Lord knows I get the lion's share of bands sending me friend request on myspace and I don't add bands unless I truly like them. That being said I look for bands with their "own sound" and a sense of uniqueness. A few months ago I got a friend request from the band The Murder & The Harlot.

The first thing I noticed about these guys was their sense of style...not like the every day "I hate everything scene kids" but just a flat out cool look. But then I noticed the cover art and the name of their new EP "Young, Hot & Stupid."

Four girls that look like they're smack dab in the middle of a Jersey shore kegger and with a slight hint of slut...and the best part...their eyes are covered by black censored bars!!! LOVE IT!

Now of course I said to myself these guys better be good...so I scrolled down and waited patiently on my music player to load up and start...and HOLY SHIT!!! Metal, with a touch of southern flare and bunch of good old fashion heavy riffage!! Powerful guitar tones, thumping bass rhythms, boom pad laden drums (LOVE THE BOOM PAD) and strong vocals and lyrics...that's pretty much my synopsis of the New Jersey five piece that say on their myspace that they are influenced by prehistoric mammals and they sound like your gag reflex! (I thought Jersey girls were known for not having those!!!) hahaha

I caught up with Greg, drummer and vocals, of The Murder & The Harlot and got some answers to the all important questions...and I'll save all the really important ones about groupies until after the next tour!

What has been the response to the new EP so far?
The response has been great! Everyone has been pretty much saying that we really have more of our own sound now.

I hear there is a new bass player in town...hows that working out so far?
We couldn't be happier with our new bassist! Hes actually a long time friend of ours, and used to be in a band called Lorene Drive. He's one of the best players we've ever heard, and were real pumped to start writing new shit with him.

Who did the art for the EP?
Jesse Korman of Xjnx studios, who's also the singer of a band called The Number 12 Looks Like You.

Do you guys actually know the girls on the cover art?
Everyone asks us that hahaha..and no we do not! annnd I don't think the girls know their on that cover either hahahahaha. oops :( (Side note: emo's MODEL citizens will deny til they die about any relcollection of the answer to this question if approached by authorities) hahaha

So is it a big secret where the name The Murder & The Harlot came from?
Nah our old guitarist was reading some book i forget the name, and that line was in it an we thought it sounded cool. There are a lot of shit heads out there that think we took the name from that Avenged Sevenfold song, when we were a band YEARS before that album came out!

Let's talk song writing...is it a complete group effort or how do you guys make magic?
It usually starts off with either me and Ed or me and Chris, the guitarists. then once we get the foundation of the song me Alex and Chris work on vocal ideas. The 3 of us pretty much show each other our ideas, and then we all pick out what we like the most!

Any tours planned soon?
We should be touring by this spring 09! and if not spring then definitely summer!

So since this is a fashion blog...let's talk fashion...now be honest...are you guys fashion minded?
YES WE ARE!!! And it has nothing to do with being in a band, we simply just like looking good and always have. Fuck that whole, "oh your in a metal band you need to dress dirty all the time like you dont care!" Anyone that thinks that needs to quit worrying about scene points and grow up.



Do you have a favorite clothing company...are you guys sponsored/endorsed by any clothing companies?
Were into like express, diesel, urban outfitters, j crew, juicy couture. And no sadly we are not sponsored by any clothing company. everyone is trying to make there own clothing line and sponsor bands to get bigger these days, but the thing most of these people don't realize is, is that your clothes have to look good first in order to sell them!!! haha

So what is rocking the iPods right now in the murder and the harlot camp?
I have been currently rocking the latest Heavy Heavy Low Low album "Turtle Nipple and the Toxic Shock" pretty much non stop. Chris has been rockin He is Legend and a lot of techno like dj encore, and the rest like the latest Haste the Day, City and Colour, ect..


So what we can we expect to see in 2009 from you guys?
TOURING! finally, oh yea and a ton of new merch, and of course more new music as well!

Jessie DeVille is a beautiful tattooed vixen from Northern California and has been featured in several tattoo magazines and has graced numerous magazine covers all over the world. She is sought out globally by photographers for her unique look and killer presence in front of a lens! DeVille has a look all her own…with tattoos galore and sex appeal that would make your mom blush!

Originally from South Florida, she began her modeling career at an early age in Miami, FL and later moved to Northern California and continued her modeling career along with doing hair and make up.

After spending some time in Southern California to complete school, furthering her experience with hair and make up, DeVille returned to what she calls, "the simple life" of Northern California.

So Jessie was there one particular moment that got you to move away from model hotspot southern California?
It was so expensive to live in southern cali, The traffic is not fun either. Nor Cal has been good to me but I would like to move back down south one of these days...
Maybe try San Diego.

So what is a “normal” day in the life of Jessie DeVille?
I run my bar and do all the ordering and errands so you can usually find me at the bar during the day. I have 2 little dogs one is an English Bulldog named Cherry Bomb and the other is a Chihuahua mix named Elvis. When I'm not at the bar I'm usually hanging with the dogs at the park or riding beach cruizers with my hubby.

What’s been your favorite shoot thus far?
Pretty much anything I shoot with Gary Roberts, we always have a good time and the photos always come out amazing.

I noticed that you're a Villain Girl on myspace...how has that experience been for you?
I don't run that site, I'm not really sure who does. lol...

So…your tattoos…would you say that your tats have helped you in your modeling career?
That's pretty much my major focus...Tattoo modeling is what I do
So I would say definitely! LOL



How many hours have you spent “under the needles?”
I don't even know....ALOTTTTTT!!!
I stopped counting after my first sleeve.


How old were you when you got your first tattoo?
Way too young to be getting tattooed...lol
I think I was like 15, I got matching heart tattoos with 2 of
my girlfriends. They were horrible and looked like rotten tomatoes. LOL...
Covered now with the cherries on my chest.

Do you have a favorite tattoo?
I really love my black n gray virgin mary on my upper right arm. I want to get more black n gray work eventually....
Maybe a Marilyn Monroe portrait?

Is there a particular style of shoot you haven’t done yet but have always wanted to?
PLAYBOY!!! I would love to be part of a heavily tattooed edition of playboy...if Hef would ever do something like that.
Playboy is the only "nudie" photos I would ever be interested in doing...

So the bar…how’d did you get that started?
My husband and I love rock n roll we always wanted a music venue, he is the drummer of legendary skate punk band "The Faction."

Hey Crystal, first off I want to say congratulations on being chosen as a playmate...that's a pretty big deal! What was your first reaction when you found out?
Well I had no idea that Hef was going to make all six of us (the 55th anniversary finalists) playmates. So I was so excited and happy when he told us. I cried a little bit. =)

Is there any one event that got you into modeling in the first place?
My mother was a playmate back in 1968. She did lots of other kind of modeling to, but Playboy stood out in my mind the most.

Your mom was a playmate???? There are very few people who can say that!!! And now you're a playmate...AWESOME!!!
haha...yeah it's pretty neat to be able to say that I'm a playmate now.

How old were you when you started modeling?
I started when I was 9 years old. I did lots of pageants, so that kind of got the ball rolling for me with modeling.

What's your favorite style/kind of modeling?
I love high fashion and I love crazy creative shoots too. Stuff you just can't wear or do every day is so much fun.

So its no secret you have an AMAZING body...what do you do to keep it that way?
Wow! Thank you.=) Well, nothing much. I am a vegetarian...so I think that helps with eating healthier and I try to go to the gym three times a week. Try being the key word.

Are you a strong family person?
Yes! Very much. I have six brothers and sisters. I love my crazy family. I don't know what I would do without them.

What was your parents reaction to you becoming a playmate?
My Mom is so excited and is so happy for me and my Father I'm sure is smiling down on me from heaven.

I've seen quite a few pictures of you at THE MANSION...Tell me about my hero and the legend Hef...
Hef is the very best! He and the girls made me feel so welcome and I love I can call the mansion my other home. Hef is so great, you can ask him anything and he is so straight up with you.

How about the "girls next door?"
The gals are so much fun and I know if I ever needed anything, they would be there for me. Whenever they come to Chicago they always let me know. I love them.

So what about you...would you be Hef's girlfriend?
Ummm, Sorry Hef but no. Before my mom met my dad, she dated Hef for three years. Not really into that.

What has been the best thing you have experienced has a model thus far?
I would say going to the mansion and meeting Hef and the girls. It's an experience not a lot of people can say they have done.


So when it comes to modeling...what do you like to see in a photographer? As in what do you like about your favorite photographers?
I think its very important to give direction and feed backs as a photographer. I've been pretty lucky with having some really amazing and talented people shoot me.

At this point you're already a Playboy Playmate...What are you hoping to accomplish as a model from here...what is now the TOP of the mountain for Crystal McCahill?

I would love to just get as many jobs out of it and see where it takes me. I'm really spontaneous so it would be amazing if I could see the world with some modeling jobs.

OK...now lets get personal...What about a significant other?
I am single!! Ha ha! I just ended a four year relationship so I am just spreading my wings now!

How does a guy get your attention?
I love witty funny guys! So by getting me to laugh is a great start.

So when you go out is it VIP everywhere you go now?
No not really. I work in the Chicago nightlife scene, so I pretty much know everyone at the doors to get in easily.

So you live in Chicago...but is that your favorite city?
Chicago!?!?! I love my city! It's not to big and not to small.... its just right!

Everyone in the Chi has a favorite and I don't think you're allowed to live there if you don't pick one or the other...so...Cubs or Sox?
Cubs all the way!!!

What do you have coming up? Where can we look forward to seeing you in the near future?
Well, I've done a couple adds for Playboy, so if you cant wait for my issue in August then you can get a sneak peek in the December '08 and the February '09 issue's.

And lastly...what would be your advice for an upcoming model or someone just starting out?
Never pay the agency! They want you then they will take care of everything. It dosen't hurt to take a few classes to learn how to move and know whats you best angles. You might be modeling for just pictures for a while but if you want and work for it enough, then it will come.=)

The Man, The Myth, The Legend...Brad Patton

I met Brad a few months back and I've been a fan of his work for a long time.

Brad Patton is an accomplished photographer and has shot hundreds of models from all over the world and has a resume that is basically a Who's Who's of the Business World!

This is a little bit of a conversation with one of the Southeast's favorite and best photographers...


Hey Brad! So i know you've been a photographer for a long time...how did you get your start?
I've always loved the camera but I really got started as a photo journalist for the Augusta Chronicle Herald in Augusta Ga.

What do you think of the digital age compared to film?
I LOVE the digital age compared to film. So much easier and faster turn around for the clients. In the future i believe that still cameras will be replaced and stills will be captured captured off HD video.

Brad let's talk Models...What do you look for in models?
There are a lot of things that I look for...Face, figure, dependable, graceful, personable, original, experimental, visionary, a bit of a exhibitionist and of course they LIKE ME!

What would be your advice for new/aspiring models?
AMBITION and DEPENDABILITY. Get in front of any camera you can to build your book. Then be VERY selective. Don't be a snob or greedy, Be humble.

Now Brad I know that you've been on many escapades in your career...Do you have an all time favorite photo shoot?
Hmm tough one. I'd be hard pressed to pick just one but I took 12 girls naked rafting and 14 naked snow skiing, THAT was a fun week. As far as just a "Normal" shoot, I think that a Travel editorial to Amsterdam ranks tops on my list.

Do you have a concept that you've always wanted to do but haven't yet?
I have always wanted to do a fine art work arrangement for a gallery opening.

I know that you've been published a lot...Where all have you been published or are there just to many to name?
Way too many to list, USA, Costa Rica, Spain, Netherlands, Poland and Japan.

Brad, where is your favorite place to shoot?
I don't have any one favorite place but I love "Interesting locations." It could be any where! I'm not much of a studio person even though I have to some times.

And finally what is the golden egg shoot...what is the top of the mountain shoot for Brad Patton?
National Geographic and Playboy team up to send me and 8 models to shoot at the 8 wonders of the world. I know there is only 7 BUT women are the 8th wonder.

Amen to that!!!
